I had a surprise today - Mommy got to stay home for MLK day. :) So we had friends over in the morning and after they left, Mommy had me try on this outfit for my cousin V:
I didn't want to take it off, but my mommy promised to make me some dresses for the summer. So this afternoon we cut out fabric for more dresses. Mommy went to the bathroom and came back and saw me doing this:
I can't wait for my butterfly dress to be ready! :) I really liked helping!
Don't worry - those are playdough scissors and mommy put lots of lotion on my face - it's so red from my runny nose. :(

Dusting off the Sewing Machine...
So I dusted off my sewing machine - I don't think it's seen the light of day since the summer...Anyways, I have a new New Years Resolution - I am not going to buy any gifts for anyone this year - or I'm not going to buy the "whole" gift - I'm going to have to make some part of it. Which means more crafting. But I have ulterior motives - 1) It keeps me off the couch (except for my knitting), 2) It keeps me from eating, 3) It keeps my mind creating!
So first up is our niece's birthday: I found this beautiful Alexander Henry fabric on the remnant table and paired it with some fabric I bought for a dress that I was going to make LO (don't worry, I saved the Alexander Henry fabric for a dress for LO - it's the top fabric).
The "bloomers" for underneath - I thought the dress would be too short:
Now to finish that mei tai for my cousin and the dress for LO.
Update: This is the one I made LO this past summer - it was a little big and it's meant to grow with her:
It makes a complete circle:
Here is the tute to make the dress - it takes a while, but it's well worth it in the end!

Cool Children's Museum!
Mommy and Daddy took me to a cool Children's Museum last weekend! It's an old Victorian house and it's been converted into a museum. They have a train, ball, water, color, diner, jungle, and boat room. Of course, my favorite was the train room. :)
Here are some pictures of my adventure!
The TRAIN!
Ringing the bell:
Getting off the train:
And heading over to the TRAIN TABLE!
And reading a train book with Mommy:
What a fun day! Thank you Mommy and Daddy!

Daddy's Shoes
I love my daddy - tonight when daddy came home from shopping, I took his shoes and tried to walk in them. They are SO BIG! Mommy says they are a size 12. I wonder if my feet will ever be that big?
Here I am lining them up:
I'm a little shaky:
If I fall on my knees the shoes come off:
This is so much fun!

Happy New Year!
I've been slacking on the blog lately - I've been enjoying my vacation from work and spending lots of time with LO. December is such a busy month for us - we have some birthdays and many Christmas celebrations with family and friends.
Here are some pictures of some of these moments:
Lots of snowstorms:
