And we're expecting!
Our estimated due date is March 4, 2009 and we couldn't be happier. On Wednesday LO and I went for an ultrasound and we were able to see the little bean and the heartbeat. I'm doing ok - a little nausea, but no where near what I had with LO - PRAISE THE LORD!
Now you know why I haven't been around lately... ;)

Feeding Buddy...
So yesterday while not feeling well, I could hear Little One and Buddy in the kitchen. I didn't think much of it until she said, "Mommy, come here and see me!" I knew to take my camera, because I was in for a treat.
This is what I saw...
Poor Buddy - at least he was "safe" in his crate.
Don't mind the pull up - she wanted to be "maked" so this was a step up. ;)

The Special Park and Climbing a Mountain
Little One loves to go to parks - but mostly she likes to go to the "Special Park" - it's special for no particular reason. We think she calls it that because not a lot of kids go to it, so she has the park to herself. It's not a park that I would regularly bring her to because a lot of the things are up high and seem "older" for an almost 2 1/2 year old...but she likes it, so Daddy takes her there.
We went tonight for a visit and LO showed us some dare devil tricks...

Phew! She did it! At least 6 times too! :)

A Recent Conversation
Setting - In my car, Hubby is driving, I'm in the passenger seat and Little One is in the backseat (strapped in her carseat).
Me (complaining): She has you so wrapped around her little finger.
Hubby: No she doesn't.
Me: Yes, she does! She has you so wrapped around her little finger!
Little One: I have two little fingers Mommy!
End Scene

Sheep Shearing Festival!
Today we went to the annual Sheep Shearing Festival a few towns over. It's always a big hit with sheep, goats, alpacas, chickens, and any other barn animal that is easily transported. It's held on beautiful grounds with an old 18th century mansion. Little One loved the big hills that she could roll down, as well as watching the herding dogs. Here are some snapshots of our day:

Boston, Here She Comes!
We took LO to Boston today to the circus. She did really well there, until the second act when she had to go potty and she peed on Daddy. Oh well - but she did tell us she had to go potty, however it was after she peed. Other than that, she's been really good today.
I think she was disappointed that there weren't more animals at the circus - they had dogs and horses, but that was it - the rest were really cool human tricks, but LO didn't think they were so cool...
After, we decided to walk around Fanueil Hall - it was such a beautiful day and there were many Boston Marathon runners sight seeing with their families. LO was infatuated with the drain covers. She kept running, jumping and standing on them.
Here is our Red Sox/Thomas Fan gearing up for the trip:

Operation Potty Power!!!!! Update
Well, we have success! (for now) LO has peed on the potty 10 times today. She has earned her Pink Doctor Baby and is now working hard to earn her My Little Pony Panties. :)
We have had some accidents, but the last one, she stopped herself and then she went right onto the potty without us asking...so maybe it's clicking. One can be hopeful! So far we've had 10 successful peepees on the potty and only 5 "not quites."
I'm working hard!
Putting sticker #6 on the chart:
So proud!

Operation Potty Power!!!!!
So LO has a major diaper rash. It's so bad that the dr gave her 2 prescriptions and a push to start potty training. So yesterday, we went to the toy store and purchased "Potty Power" dvd and a dolly that goes potty. LO really wanted a dolly that comes with a dr kit, but I told her that she had to pee-pee on the potty to get the "pink doctor baby."
Last night we watched the video about 10 times, and as we were laying in bed, LO said, "I have to go potty." Stupid tired first time parents, we said, "Tomorrow." Then about two minutes later she said, "I pee." Just great!
This morning LO asked for the Potty Power DVD, and we set up the potty, and within minutes, she was sitting on the potty and she peed! :) We celebrated by putting a sticker on the potty chart and calling Pa-pa. She was so proud to tell him, "I sit on the potty and I pee!"
About 10 minutes later, she went again and demanded a sticker for her chart. Only 4 more to get her "pink doctor baby."

The Farm
Hubby and I took Little One to the farm the other day to show her all the baby animals - there were lots of baby sheep and some very pregnant goats. We also go to see a skunk up close (don't worry, it was de-scented) and LO kept saying "pee-you!" to it. The highlight of her day though was getting a little green tractor from the gift shop. She was insistent on making it go on the "gate" and seeing if there were any tunnels (holes in the fence) that it could fit through.
